No one would have expected such a fresh, almost a rarity in the beautiful teenage faces of Bill and Tom Kaulitz, mind and heart for Tokio Hotel. They walked around the Palazzo Biscuri decadent rooms, the palace from the 18th century in Catania, Sicily, where the shooting took place, almost humbly, as if they did not want to disturb the "genius loci".
Given their success, having sold millions of records worldwide (their last album was released Humanoid exactly a year) for these two young men would have seemed normal - at such a young age made it so much - to take everything for granted. Twin brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz of the band Tokio Hotel grace the cover of the October 2010 issue of Vogue L’Uomo.
The 21-year-old superstars are moving from Germany to Los Angeles to be closer to their manager and producer David Jost, so that they can write songs more efficiently, according to a German magazine.
Below is a backstage video of the photo shoot, which took place at the Palazzo Biscuri, a splendid 18th Century palazzo in Sicily, Italy.

Cand este vorba de prezenta pe covorul rosu, Bill si Tom Kaulitz (21), gemenii trupei de succes Tokio Hotel ["Durch den Monsun"], nu ar putea fi mai diferiti. Si chiar si in timpul sedintelor foto pentru reviste importante, partile principale sunt in mod clar atribuite intre baieti.

KUDOS to you, good people on the masthead of L'Uomo Vogue (Italy's Men's Vogue). You saw the Vogue potential in Tokio Hotel's Bill and Tom Kaulitz, and you made that cover happen. This, in the form of the twins Kaulitz on L'Uomo Vogue's music issue.
Bill looks slightly fin de siècle, slightly Panic At The Disco circa "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" era with impeccable, slicked-back hair, a Lanvin suit and Rick Owens boots (ahem, Lenny Kravitz!). And Tom's cleaned up nicely in Lanvin and DSquared2 -- a favorite of the boys.

Nici n-au plecat bine cei doi frati in LA pentru a pregati urmatoarele elemente discografice, ca L'Uomo Vogue i-a si luat in vizor pentru o sesiune foto.
L'Uomo Vogue a publicat o editie speciala dedicata muzicii si s-au gandit ca nimeni n-ar fi mai corespunzător pentru coperta acestei editii decat gemenii de la Tokio Hotel.
Bill apare intr-o tinuta mai clasica, gen sfarsit de secol XIX, cu parul lins peste cap, imbracat intr-un ținută Lanvin si cu ghete Rick Owens, in timp ce Tom e imbracat ceva mai relaxat.

Au fost pentru prima data in Sicilia, la TRL On the Road pentru a promova in direct DVD-ul "Humanoid City Live", printre altele, inregistrat in Milano.
Sub soarele fierbinte si cu aerul imposibil de respirat, sute de fani asteptau sosirea lor in fata scenei de transmisie pe Africa Avenue.
In dimineata urmatoare cei doi frati au iesit din hotel dimineata devreme, au mers in centrul capitalei Siciliei, unde camerele de luat vederi, bliturile si fanii asteptau pentru o sesiune foto in unul dintre cele mai frumoase palate din Italia (video propus pe pagina web a revistei Vogue).
Aur si stralucire
O somptuoasa cladire baroca din secolul XVIII, plina de stucuri proaspete, decorata cu scari spectaculoase si oglinzi mari. Si aici pozeaza Bill cu parul stralucitor dat pe spate si in ținută Dandy-retro cu propria lui incaltaminte, si Tom, cu pantofii lui supradimensionati.
Intre un înveliș de praf si un dram de fard la ochi, gemenii sunt inconjurati de filmari in care Bill se pare ca vrea un razboi cu destinul, avand ochii inflamati, si Tom se destinde in stilul lui casual. Contrastul dintre amandoi este evident, atat in atitudine cat si in aspect. La întâia vedere este aproape imposibil sa crezi ca sunt gemeni; pe de-o parte piele, zale, cizme din piton si ochi fumurii - camasa in carouri mari, dreadlocks si sneakears pe de alta parte. Dar suficinet pentru a ajunge sa-si ridice privirea si ochii care sunt identici traseaza chipurile amandurora.
"Noi nu ne vom desparti niciodata", a spus Bill. "Singura data cand am fost la scoala, profesoara ne-a pus in clase diferite: cea mai rea experienta din viata mea. Exista o legatura foarte puternica intre noi, dar vom discuta si despre asta in mare masura", si Tom, a insistat sa adauge: "Nu, nu suntem ca fratii Gallagher. Nu vom ajunge niciodata la acele niveluri. Avem doua personalitati foarte diferite si bine definite, din punct de vedere al imaginii. Dar impreuna suntem doua fete ale aceleiasi monede, una singura si puternica."
Zece ani de cariera la activ, doar 21 de ani, si o mare pasiune pentru miile de fane din intreaga lume; sunt coplesiti. Bill si Tom au acest mod de viata de la o varsta frageda, ajutati de cantitatea corecta de noroc si, bineinteles, de colegii lor de trupa Georg si Gustav, care si-au impartasit visele cand toti 4 erau inca extrem mici.
Dar au fost gemenii Kaulitz, cu excentritatile lor, individualitatea, farmecul, oximoronul viu care ii transforma in adevaratii idoli si inspiratia pentru multi fotografi si designeri. |

In public
They don't have a stylist and have always personally chosen their looks. Bill, the frontman, is the one who wears the most outrageous stage outfits: he is a fashion lover, he has designed and customised his own clothes since he was a kid. His style is constantly evolving: he left jeans and t-shirt behind and has opted for more refined clothes (blazers, leather jackets, unique pants and chic aviator-style jumpsuits). The glam android costumes he has recently wore at the Welcome to Humanoid City tour were designed by Dsquared²'s Dean and Dan Caten.

Bill loves body piercings and tattoos (he has four), while Tom has a passion for graffiti.
They hate
Paparazzi.
We like them because
