On Europe Tokio Hotel are the most popular and successful, international rock bands! In the meantime “Durch den Monsun”, went on a trip to Jerusalem! “Monsoon” is the hit on radio stations in Israel, number 1 on the charts list on one of the biggest stations in Israel! The German rock band has become a real star in Israel – that has never happen before! ROSH E´HAD" is the biggest and the most important Music- and Trend magazine for teenagers in Israel, which has for the first time mentioned about the German rock band, and even put them o the title site of the magazine! They also decided to walk through streets of Jerusalem, and look for Tokio Hotel fans! This has mobilized all fans, and they decided to write a petition, which contained 5.000 subscriptions, where one sentence has been repeating: “Please, come to Israel and play a concert for us!” It wasn’t just talking, but it was an official battle! The Embassy of Israel has informed the four boys from Magdeburg, about this action, and the band was really touched, after receiving many fan posts from their fans in Israel! The assistant of the Ambassador of Israel told us that fans can be calm: “…you can count on a Tokio Hotel concert in our country!.

"They are the biggest rockers coming out of Germany since Rammstein, and they surely look better. And if you ask yourself, Who the hell are Rammstein, - so thats exactly the point!
They are young, They are kicking and the lately took out their 1st english album.
The hysteria around them is breaking records across Europe, but that's not enough for them! They are planing to conquer the rest of the world too, and maybe some other planets on the way
And guess what? They just gave us an extremly exclusive interview- their first one for an Israeli media - so give us some respect!
At first, we thought that only the singer BK will wait for us on the telephone line, but we were surprised to know that the 3 other band members were also there, waiting for us like good-kids-from-Magdburg, the German city they live in!
And yes, these guys are really good, polite and nice kids, who are not so into themselves and dont act like snobs.
Hey, they even suggested to give us a private gig in the phone, so we can record it.
Do you get it? a private gig from TH, especially for Rosh1~!
Involved with the song writing~
The Germans are Well known in their accuracy sense, and the call was recieved exactly in the time we asked.
Since the guys preferd talking in German, and we sticked with the English, we brought a translator to help us.
We could see that Bill, who was the one who answerd most of our questions, is a smart, ambicious and fluent guy. He answerd our questions with enthusiasm, and didnt stop talkin.
For a clipă we even thought the tanslator is cutting Bill's words, cause on every 5 sentences Bill told us in German, we got 2 in English.

The boys: Hellooo!!!
First, grats for your first English album "Scream", that is actually combining translated versions of songs from both German albums "Schrei" and "Zimmer 483". How did you pick the songs you should put in your new album and why did you chose to pass the other ones?
Bill: "Scream" is kind of a collection of our best songs from both albums. We picked our favorite songs and ofcourse the ones who fitted to translation and singing in English.
Bill, was it hard to sing in English?
Bill: Yeah, sure. It was a big and hard challenge. I worked really hard to make the songs sound normal as possible, like a real english speaker, and not like a German who sings without understanding what his saying. We worked with 4 english- speaking producers, that really helped us out in that part.
What are your favorite songs in the album?
Bill: My favorites are the ones that are fun to sing in a gig. like "Scream" for example. there are songs who fits better to gigs than other ones.
Tom:My favortie songs keeps changing. I really love "Love is dead" and "By your side".
Monsoon is your first single from the album. Btw, the Israeli radio stations wont stop playing it. Do you know what will be your next single?
Bill: it depends in what country it will be released. We consult our producers and with the record comapny people in every country and we decide together which songs will be singels.
Right now, we dont know exactly what will be our next single. [They wrote in brackets that "Scream" and "Ready,set,go" will probably be their next singles]
You've been playing together for 4 years and...
Bill: 7 years! We've been together for 7 years!
Okay, right, 7 years. I ment that you've been playing together for 4 years under the name "TH" and not "Devilish", your previous name. anyway, is your involvement in the songs getting bigger, or are you counting on other producers?
Tom: We are tottaly involved with our song writing and are very precise about it. In addition, we well NEVER make covers of other artists songs, cause its not a big deal. The only cover we peformed was for John Lennon's "Instant Karma". [Which is in a CD of artists who gathered to help the Darfur refugees.]
Bill: I've been writing music since I was 7 years old and performing with Tom since I was 8 years old.
Writing original songs is part of the deal, and is not less important than peforming the songs live!
In other words, the boys really want to show their message - They are real musicians and not just a record comapny poppets, who are backed in a team of musicians and producers that are doing all the hard work for them.
Are you working on new songs right now?
Tom: Yes, any time, any where!
Me and Georg are always playing with Bill and trying new stuff.
A dream come true.
Have you ever dreamt about being so famous in such a young age?
Tom: definitely not! Two years ago we were living in a small town in Germany which nobody heard of. We got really lucky and we are really happy. We are amazed to hear that we have so much fans all over the world, even in far places like Japan! When we heard that we are about to be interviewd by Israeli people we were really excited.! We havnt thought we actually have fans there.
Well, you better know that you have fans here - a lot of them! And speaking of success, what are the advantages and disadvantages about being famous?
Bill: I think there are more advantages than disadvantages. Our biggest advantage is that we are playing our music on big stages in front of thousand of fans, and always meet new people.
The only disadvantage is that we lost our privacy. We are famous since we are 15 years old and everybody recognize us ever since. It took a long time to get used to the papparazi.
Its a thing you should learn how to live with.
What is the craziest thing a fan ever did just to get close to you?
Bill: our fans are doing a lot of crazy things. They are climbing on ladderes in buildings we are staying in. stalking us everywhere and there were fans who slept a whole week near a site we played a gig in.

Bill: Yes, a week.
Exactly in that second the record company lady got on the line and demanded to stop the interview.Our pleading to to ask TH more questions [Cause they promised them 20 minutes any they got less] didnt help, since the guys's time was really running short, and the next interviewr was already waiting for them on the line. In the end we agreed that we'll send em the questions on E-mail, and told them that it'll be nice if we'll get answeres soon. If we will - you'll be the first to know. If we wont, guess we'll have to buy a ticket to Germany and start climibing ladders

8 teens hurt after gate collapses at rock concert

Several teenagers were lightly wounded Saturday after a glass gate collapsed at the entrance to a rock concert at the Tel Aviv Trade Fair and Convention Center (Ganei Hata'arucha). Magen David Adom paramedics treated the injured on the spot. The incident occurred at about 6:30 pm during a concert of German rock band Tokio Hotel, when one of the front gates shattered, injuring teens who were waiting to get inside.
MDA reported that eight teens between the ages of 14-16 were wounded, and three girls were evacuated to the Sourasky Farmaceutic Center for further treatment.
Tokio Hotel decided to perform in Israel following a massive petition of their local fans to bring them to the country, signed by more than 2,500 enthused youths. The Israeli embassy in Germany relayed the petition to the band.
